“…The authors focus on building each individual character and making us love them all is so wonderful. Every character has their own past, present, and future and it’s so interesting to see them grow…. Not everyone is perfect all the time, and Amyntas is such a good example of that”

“At first you’re going to want to beef with both the FMC and MMC because one has daddy issues and the other is violent and both are stubborn. The slow building of trust these characters begin to have for each other melts in to the store and world building, making you want to turn the page. When you do turn the page, it’s never something you would expect. There were parts of the story where both the characters and I were unsure of everyone’s intentions, which was even more thrilling. I also think this enemies to lovers trope does an amazing job at not letting romance become the main storyline. There is no unnecessary lustful paragraphs taking over the plot. Overall, this book makes me extremely excited for the rest of the series!”
